All sales are final
Items sold on AuctionBuddha.com — including fixed-price storefront purchases and auction wins — are sold on an “as-is” basis and all sales are final, except where an item was materially misrepresented (see below). Please review item descriptions, condition notes, photos, and any estimates carefully, and ask the seller questions before you buy or bid.
Auction wins are binding
A winning bid is a binding commitment to purchase. Auctions are not eligible for “change of mind” returns. See our Auction Terms for details.
Misrepresented or not-as-described items
If an item is materially different from its description (for example, the wrong materials, undisclosed damage, or a misstated maker), you may request a refund or return. To qualify:
- Contact us within 7 days of receiving the item.
- Describe the problem and include photos.
- Keep the item in the condition you received it; do not alter or repair it.
We will review the claim with the seller. If approved, you’ll receive instructions to return the item, and a refund will be issued to your original payment method once the item is received and verified.
How refunds are issued
Because payment is handled by invoice rather than charged on the site, approved refunds are processed through the same method used for the original payment. Refund timing depends on the payment method. Original shipping costs may be non-refundable, and return shipping arrangements will be confirmed as part of the approval.
Marketplace role
Sellers are independent vendors responsible for their items. AuctionBuddha.com helps facilitate and, where appropriate, mediate return and refund requests, but is not the seller of vendor items.
